Born in Colorado but raised in Europe, Greg caught the racing bug at no less a venue than the legendary Nurburgring Nordschleif, and after his second visit the hook was set! He began his announcing with snowmobile racing, including the ESPN Winter X Games, and began his racing with Autocross and ice racing. In his first year of road racing, he won his SCCA LOL Region’s Rookie of the Year Award, with two track records. While all of that was happening he kept announcing, and eventually became the first ever Series Announcer for the Trans-Am series during its 1990s second golden era. His big break in TV came when he served as a pit reporter on CBC for the Canadian rounds of the CART IndyCar series, and then became one of the first announcer hires on the new Speedvision all-racing TV network. He has since worked on the coverage of some of the top racing series and events both in North America and globally, including Formula 1, 24 Hours of Le Mans, IMSA and ALMS, Indycar, MotoGP, AMA, MotoAmerica, World Challenge, GRIDLIFE Festivals, SCCA, Vintage and Historic racing, Snowmobiles, and the E1 electric powerboat racing World Championship. Networks he has appeared on include ABC, CBS, FOX, CBC (Canada), SPEED, ESPN and Speedvision. Among his more notable positions, Greg served for 15 years on the Fox Sports broadcast team at the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans in France.
